What do childrens’ gradings look like?

Separate Childrens gradings are organised. These are intended to be more relaxed for the children because we know how nerve racking all gradings are for everyone. 

In essence the same syllabus as for adults is used so the child does not have to re-sit a grading when he/she gets older.  

Children/Cadets do not get taught ‘dangerous’ techniques in Honsinsul as they are too young to fully understand the fatal consequences of some of the techniques in the syllabus, and special ‘breaking’ boards for children are used.
